The History Of Black market Fireworks
Like many business owners, Aaron Colson grew up “in” the family business. His father, Vic Colson, started the company and retired from the business after a lifetime career in the fireworks industry. Aaron and his wife, Heather, intend to pass the legacy on to their daughters someday. Vic Colson was in the landscape and nursery business in the early 1970’s and decided to try and add firework sales for some extra income after the busy spring season. Vic and his partner ran the first fireworks tent for many years, then Vic’s parents ran it for a few years; then Aaron eventually took over that location, and his daughters Claire and Carmen now run that exact same location! That’s four generations! Even though Vic Colson has been retired for 10 years or so, everyone loves that he still comes around the office and warehouse, offering ideas and reminding us “how things need to be done.”
